How it works
- PACS archive
- DICOM workstation
- image review
The need
Medical imaging depends on specialised DICOM data and established hospital infrastructure. Images and their associated information need to move from the archive into a workstation where they can be reviewed.
What we built
- PACS integration · The workstation receives DICOM studies from the hospital's existing PACS infrastructure.
- DICOM processing · Images and their associated information are handled inside the application.
- Visualisation · Images are presented for review in the same workflow.
What changed
Image retrieval from PACS and DICOM visualisation work in one workflow, on one integrated workstation.
The project covers software for handling and visualising imaging data. Its scope is system functionality, not clinical outcomes.
