The challenge
Large collections of medical images can support new research, provided teams can identify and obtain the material they need. The challenge was to make those collections usable while accounting for sensitive information.
What we engineered
We developed a platform covering data preparation, search and retrieval. Our work combined an interface for exploring available data with automated preparation, access controls and checks on data handling.
What changed
Research teams can find relevant imaging data, select material for their work and request it through one platform. The delivered system connects existing imaging collections with the people who need them for research.
Scope & evidence
ArtNovation reported a processing volume of 20 million imaging series in September 2026. The figure counts imaging series, not individual patients.
