The challenge
A healthcare team needed a pipeline that could work with locally deployed hospital PACS systems, handle different imaging modalities and anonymise data before it left the hospital environment.
What we engineered
We built the connection to local PACS, extraction to an on-site machine and anonymisation using AI at the edge. Anonymised data then moves to dedicated AWS infrastructure, with a bastion supporting controlled administrative access.
What changed
The system has processed 20 million imaging series across CT, MRI, mammography, ultrasound, radiotherapy and other modalities.
Scope & evidence
Processing volume reported by ArtNovation in September 2026; it describes imaging series, not patients. The architecture combines local processing with cloud infrastructure.
